Charge Collie Pup is ready for adoption
Charge is a 6-month-old Black and White working Border Collie or Border Collie X. He will need an adult only household ideally but no kids under 12.
Charge is a slightly reserved dog, he has been bullied a bit by his brothers, and this has made him slightly more nervous and unsure.
He would be suited to a home with another one or two confident, well-rounded dogs so that he could build his confidence by following their lead. He could live as a single dog but only with an assertive owner that would give him lots of socialisation with and around other dogs.
He is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He will need someone with working breed knowledge and previous Border Collie Experience. He will need a job to do, an activity to engage in. He would be suited to any activity from obedience or scent work through to the higher energy activities such as Flyball or Agility.
Charge heeds a confident assertive owner who can bring him forward and build his confidence without nurturing bad behaviour. This is where having Border Collie experience is vital.
If lead the right way and with the right environment, he will make a great asset to the household. A beautiful and intelligent soul in need of guidance and leadership.
