Subject to the following Terms and Conditions

1.The adopted animal shall remain the property of F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue for its entire life, you can not sell or pass the animal on, they should always be returned to F.A.I.T.H. F.A.I.T.H. shall be permitted to visit the adopted animal to inspect it, without notice, at any reasonable time. If, in the opinion of F.A.I.T.H., its representatives or veterinary surgeons, the animal is being mistreated or its welfare in any way compromised, then F.A.I.T.H. shall have the right, immediately or upon notice, to regain custody of the animal and the adopter shall have no further rights upon it.

2. The adopter shall not part with possession of the animal without the written permission of F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue except in an emergency and on a temporary basis only. Animals adopted together must reside together for their entire lives unless F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue gives approval to separate the animals. F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue must be notified of any change of address. Cats and Dogs, unless otherwise stated, must live as part of the family in the family home.

3. The adopter shall pay for all veterinary treatment of the animal and be responsible for the welfare of the animal throughout the period of adoption. Our animals are health checked, but it is not always possible to detect the onset of an infection already contracted. If there is a need for medical attention within three weeks of adoption F.A.I.T.H. MUST be contacted, and if necessary arrangements made for the said animal to be seen at F.A.I.T.H.’s general veterinary practice. Otherwise all costs incurred will be your responsibility

The adopter shall be responsible for any actions of the adopted animal, any liability for injury/damage to persons or property and any legal repercussions arising from the said actions. F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue makes no guarantee as to the health, temperament, mental disposition or training of the animal. Should the unfortunate situation arise and it soon becomes apparent your pet proves unsuitable, we will endeavour to find you another. Donation refunds are not an automatic right. If an animal is returned later in to the adoption, F.A.I.T.H. must be given at least one months notice in order to allocate space. However, we will aim to accept return as soon as possible.

5. Upon adoption any incomplete course of inoculations shall be completed and kept up to date throughout the animal’s life. If the animal has not been vaccinated prior to adoption, the adopter shall start the relevant course at the appropriate time.

6. The adopter shall ensure that any un-neutered animal is neutered on or before the time stated on the neutering certificate, which must be returned to F.A.I.T.H. or as stated in this contract. The animal shall not be permitted to breed.
